
FOCUS
GMAC has a long tradition of giving back to the communities where we live and work. Our intent is to enhance the quality of life and economic vitality of our communities. Through employee volunteerism and our charitable grant programs, we hope to enrich the lives of others. Our primary focus is in the areas of housing and financial literacy. Grant requests for education (K-12), youth development, health and human services, and the arts are also eligible for funding.
ELIGIBILITY
Nonprofit organizations must have, and provide proof of, a 501(c) (3) designation from the IRS or international equivalent.
GRANTS POLICIES AND GUIDELINES
All grants requested must be submitted using the Letter of Inquiry form.
Letter of Inquiry must be postmarked no later than March 1 for Cycle 1 consideration and no later than Sept. 15 for Cycle 2 consideration.
Notification of grant award:
Cycle 1: April 15
Cycle 2: Dec. 15
Incomplete or late submissions will not be reviewed.
